Community Input Opportunities
Big Ideas Open House – Wednesday, August 31st from 6:00-7:00 PM – Community Center (311 N. Washington Street, Delphi, IN 46923)
The Big Ideas Open House will be an opportunity for the community to provide input on the big picture items, goals, and objectives of the Comprehensive Plan.
Community Input Survey
A Community Input Survey was conducted online to receive input from residents and the general public on various issues. The online survey was open from May 24th – June 19th, 2022.
Community Workshop – Tuesday, June 7th from 6:00-7:30 PM – Community Center
A Community Workshop was held at the Community Center (311 N. Washington Street, Delphi, IN 46923) on Tuesday, June 7th from 6:00-7:30 PM. This was an opportunity for all residents, business owners and employees, students, and anyone that has a stake in, and is excited about, Delphi’s future to learn about the Comprehensive Plan process and help shape the direction of the plan. Approximately 30 members of the public attended this Workshop!
The City of Delphi was awarded a planning grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) and has used it to retain the services of HWC Engineering to provide facilitation and technical guidance throughout this process. Key team members include:

A project Steering Committee has been organized and charged with guiding the development of the plan. The committee members represent a number of diverse groups and interests across the community. The committee has representation from City leadership and staff, Carroll County, Delphi Community School Corporation, local businesses, and residents.
